Llanerchindda Guest House

At Llanerchindda, we aim to provide comfortable accommodation for all our guests. Nothing is too much trouble.

The approach to Llanerchindda is via a 1 in 4 hill. We do, however, have level car parking adjacent to the main building when you arrive.

  • The Ordnance Survey grid reference number for Llanerchindda is SN 807 428
  • There is always a member of the family or staff available to greet you and to help with any luggage, and assist you to your room
  • Access to the main building is via a wooden ramp over one small step from the terrace (ramp is available on request)
  • There are two adapted bedrooms (one double-bedded room, with ensuite shower for guests who are able to walk a little, and one twin-bedded room with a full wheelchair accessible shower)
  • Both rooms are on the ground floor
  • Room service is available at no extra charge
  • The restaurant, lounge, bar and conservatory are all on the ground floor. Someone will always be there to assist you
  • There is a large terrace, with fantastic views, which is accessible from the main building via a wooden ramp over one small step (ramp is available on request)
  • Assistance dogs are welcomed in the hotel (the garden is available for the dog to be exercised in as it has a secure fence around it)
  • There are toilets adjacent to the restaurant, lounge and bar facility. These are suitable for wheelchairs.
  • Llanerchindda is 7 miles from the nearest town of Llandovery, which is a typical small Welsh market town. There are parking and toilet facilities for Blue Badge holders in the town centre close to the castle
  • There is no Shop Mobility scheme operating in the immediate vicinity
  • The owners live on site and are available to assist whenever possible

Llanerchindda Farmhouse Self-Catering

Luggage can be unloaded outside the farmhouse and there is parking for one car immediately outside the front door.

  • The entrance to the farmhouse is over a 100mm step through a doorway 850mm wide
  • There is a downstairs bathroom off the hallway with a door 710mm wide and shower over the bath
  • The entrance to the lounge is through a door 810mm wide
  • From the lounge you can access the open plan kitchen/dining area via a 150mm step through a door 810mm wide. The kitchen worktops are 920mm high, the kitchen is fitted with a 5-burner gas cooker with electric oven which has a drop-down door. There is also a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the kitchen
  • Access to the 5 bedrooms is up two flights of stairs with a half-landing and bannisters on the left
  • All bedrooms have doors 710mm wide and two have an ensuite shower and toilet. The remaining 3 rooms have use of a bathroom on the ground floor. One of the bedrooms has a 250mm step down into it. Four of the bedrooms have a TV with remote control and all have tea and coffee making facilities
  • Light switches and power points are at a sensible height
  • Assistance dogs are welcomed in the farmhouse

Llanerchindda Y Stabl Self-Catering

Access to the cottage is via a steep hill from the car park. Luggage can be unloaded adjacent to the cottage across a minor road. However, there is no suitable parking here.

  • The entrance to Y Stabl is up a steep hill, over a 100mm step through a doorway 710mm wide
  • There is a downstairs toilet and shower room off the hallway with a door 660mm wide
  • The entrance to the open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge is through a door 710mm wide
  • The kitchen worktops are 920mm high. The kitchen is fitted with a 4-burner gas cooker with gas oven with side hinged door and a separate gas grill, with a drop- down door. There is also a dishwasher in the kitchen
  • There is access from the lounge to an enclosed patio over a 100mm step through a door 800mm wide
  • Access to the 3 bedrooms is up a flight of stairs with bannisters on the left
  • All bedrooms have doors 710mm wide and two have an ensuite shower and toilet. The third bedroom has use of the downstairs shower room and toilet.  The two ensuite bedrooms have a TV with remote control and all have tea and coffee making facilities
  • Light switches and power points are at a sensible height
