Dinner – served at 7.30pm
In the evening, a traditional set 3-course dinner is available (please book in advance).
Starters may include home-made vegetable soup, brie and onion tortillas or chicken satays, with traditional favourites such as roast loin of pork or lamb, beef and ale pie with traditional suet crust pastry or Chicken Llanerchindda for main courses.
Puddings may include dishes such as banana sticky toffee pudding, blackberry and apple crumble (made with blackberries picked by Lynn from our hedgerows), syrup sponge or lemon cream tart, lemon meringue roulade (Philippe’s favourite), chocolate tort, banoffee pie and fresh fruit salad.
The menu changes daily.
Vegetarians and others with food allergies are also catered for with dishes including spinach and ricotta lasagne or apricot, aubergine and courgette tagine (please let us know when you book if you require the vegetarian option, or have a food allergy).
£23.50 per person per night (inc 20% VAT) for all 3 courses. Tea, coffee and after-dinner mints are also available from the hot plate each evening
On a Saturday evening in the summer, we often have a barbecue with guests able to enjoy fantastic views of the Cynghordy Viaduct and the Black Mountain in the distance.
